We have had the opportunity to build many styles and sizes of homes. Multi-Family Residences
When you are looking for subcontractors to work on an investment such as a duplex or triplex, it is important to have quality framers who value time and the efficient use of materials. By working quickly and efficiently while avoiding wasted materials, Tightline Construction can help you keep the bottom line low and your profits high.
We have also spent some time working on larger apartment and condominium style projects as part of a larger group of framing crews responsible for specific areas in a construction project. While working in this type of job site we pay special attention to the safety of ourselves and other work crews by staying very alert and thinking ahead to avoid problems and maximize efficiency.
Homeowner Work-Share
Arrangements can gladly be made to accommodate any homeowner or family member who would like to be part of the building process. Keeping in mind the logistics and safety of all those involved, we understand that you may not have a vast background in building. But under our watchful eye, you can contribute to the framing of your house and what better way to make it your own. You can help as little, or as much as you would like. Additions
In this time of economy adjustment many people are turning to adding on to their existing homes instead of building a new home. Meshing an addition to an older home has many facets that prove to be challenging. At Tightline Construction we enjoy problem solving and have learned many ways to meet such challenges with strong and efficient solutions that keep a project running smoothly. By having a good base of skills in all construction trades, we will build your addition keeping in mind the work that needs to be finished after the framing is complete. While building onto a home that is being lived in, we will respect the family living in the home and their property as if it were our own.
Remodels
Remodeling takes a very detailed contractor with a good eye for structure and form. Each time you open up a new wall or floor there are many variables that need to be addressed in order to implement the overall structural and aesthetic plan. The reuse of original materials, blending of new materials, and working in tight spaces and situations, all complement the skills that our carpenters employ. Similarly to additions, while building onto a home that is being lived in, we will respect the family living in the home and their property as if it was our own.
Decks
Whether you are putting a new deck on your home, or replacing an old deck, Tightline Construction has the skills and the attention to detail you are looking for. With our specialty licenses including framing and concrete, we can see your project through from start to finish. With the variable weather in the northwest, home building project schedules seem to change often, so decks are the perfect projects to work on in between building homes. No matter how large or small your project is, we will treat it with all of the care and craftsmanship possible. There is always something fun about building a place that is designed for pleasure and relaxation.
Outbuildings/Garages
With storage and utility at a premium, outbuildings are a great way to compliment a home. We can use our framing skills to build you a strong and lasting structure that fits the purpose desired. We have built everything from a deluxe chicken coop to a comfortable studio apartment above a garage. As with decks and fences, outbuildings are easy to fit into our schedule, as other construction projects seem to change timelines depending on other contractors or the weather.
Fences
The perfect way to get more use from your property is by adding a fence. As with outbuildings and decks, fences make a great use of our time in between other building projects. Our specialty licenses allow us to see your project through from beginning to end-- pouring the concrete for the posts, to framing the fence and installing the gate. We can also build artistic or decorative fences using mixed materials. Your ideas and plans can be our guide, or we can help you design the right fence to fit your needs and budget.
